They began as penpals, became best friends, and fell in love. Now, photographers Michael and Carina share a love of film and a deep awareness of history, beauty and emotion in their work. They photograph couples across the USA & Europe, and their images have been featured in Southern Weddings, Bride Magazine, The Knot, Style Me Pretty, Wedding Sparrow, Magnolia Rouge, Belle Lumiere, Elizabeth Anne Designs, Once
Wed, and others. Their images have been on the cover of publications local to the Mid-Atlantic like Washingtonian Bride & Groom, and they've received multiple awards
Michael and Carina started Studio Lyonne at the end of 2019 to offer a local Richmond, Virginia studio boudoir experience consistent with the standard of quality their clients expect.

Carina: Michael has been photographing boudoir and weddings since 2011. His calm demeanor and dry humor is matched by his talent for composition and guiding subjects.
